If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out via email at christensonk@ellsworth.k12.wi.us or my cell phone (text is probably best over the weekend) at 715-768-9070. Be sure to have closed-toe shoes on Thursday and Friday for driving practice and the test. Bring a positive and cooperative attitude - in the past, at times, students seem to forget how to behave at school. While it is the summer and I also want to have a good time while we learn, general respect for each other and the classroom is expected. ****Bring lunch with you. ****

Bring lunch with you.
We’d like to take a moment to thank the family of longtime Ellsworth Middle School math teacher and coach, Mr. Keith Vinge, for their generous donation to the middle school. 💜 Because of their gift, we were able to purchase two benches in Mr. Vinge’s memory, a new records board for the gym, a ball rack, bucket, and new balls. You’ll also notice inspirational quotes now lining the gym walls just the kind of motivation Mr. Vinge would’ve loved. The next time you’re at the middle school, please take a moment to check out his jersey on display in the trophy case. It’s a lasting reminder of the positive impact he made on so many students and athletes over the years. 🏀📚

🌼 Learning beyond the classroom! Mrs. Nyseth’s sixth graders and I took a little adventure past the parking lot today to explore the plants growing right in our own backyard. We spotted raspberry bushes, admired wild strawberries in bloom 🍓, and even made some delicious “lemonade” from the wood violets! 🍋💜 It was a great reminder that nature is one of our best teachers. Thank you Ms. Asmus for the fun adventures!

Due to construction at the high school, our parking is going to be different than in past years as the back parking lot is not able to be used. However, there are options for parking at the elementary school, bus garage and surrounding streets. ● We are asking those who are able to please carpool. ● If you have people with mobility issues, they should be dropped off at the main entrance of the building. ● The two main entrances are starred on the map below (one in the front and one in the back). ● Those parking in the lot by the football field or at the front lot of the elementary school should look for the entrance signs for the lower athletic doors. ● Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. (all spectators over the age of 2 MUST have a ticket to enter for the ceremony).

They all agreed they liked it! 🙌 We love seeing students step out of their comfort zones and try something new. Great job, Panthers! 💜
