8th-grade students visited Historic Fort Snelling today.
They learned the stories of this important place with its military fort and surrounding area, home to a wide history that includes Native peoples, trade, soldiers, enslaved people, and immigrants. They explored the Plank Museum & Visitor Center inside a rehabilitated 1904 cavalry barracks and experienced expanded outdoor learning opportunities with stunning river overlooks.
