Mrs Zierlโs kindergarten class has been in writing officer training learning how to patrol their sentences. After they write, they put on their hats and patrol for capital letters, spaces between words, and punctuation. After lots of hard work, they have graduated patrol training and are set to edit their writing.
We're thrilled to share some incredible news about our amazing EES Student Council! ๐โจ They organized a heartwarming food drive with the goal of supporting those in need in our community. ๐ฅซ๐
We are overjoyed to announce that our dedicated students, with your generous contributions, were able to donate a whopping 418 pounds of food! ๐๐ฅณ This is a testament to the spirit of kindness and compassion that thrives within our school.
A huge shoutout to every student, teacher, and parent who contributed to this initiative. Your generosity is making a significant impact on the lives of those who may be facing food insecurity. ๐๐
More Red Ribbon Week fun at EES!!
Our 4th graders had a blast at the After School Art Club, thanks to the amazing after-school grant that ECSD received!
These young artists unleashed their creativity, crafting adorable scarecrows and snowmen. The room was filled with laughter, colorful paints, and endless imagination!
It's heartwarming to see how initiatives like this grant can allow our students to explore their artistic talents outside the regular curriculum.

Help protect your children -- and their classmates -- when they're under the weather so that they can return to the classroom healthy and ready to learn.
When your child is sick
The best thing you can do is to keep your children home when sick. This will help stop the spread of illness to other children and teachers. Keep them home when they show any of these symptoms:
fever of 100 degrees F or higher
nausea or vomiting
severe headache
diarrhea
red, watery eyes with yellow or green drainage
undiagnosed rash
Children should stay home until they have been naturally without fever for at least 24 hours. Please do not give children fever-reducing medication and then send them to school.
