Important information for families who may qualify for Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) benefits). School Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) is a program that provides benefits for families to buy food if their children were not getting free or reduced price meals because they were learning from home during the COVID-19 pandemic. Your child is eligible to receive School P-EBT benefits if: They were direct certified or had applied and qualified for free and reduced price meals for the 2020-2021 school year. Their school confirms the child learned from home for at least part of the 2020-2021 school year. All families who qualify and are interested in these benefits must request student attendance records to submit with their application to the P-EBT benefit program. Any family who feels they may be eligible for benefits may contact the individual building(s) in which students attended in the 2020-2021 school year to get attendance information that can be used to verify days of school in which the student(s) attended school virtually. Upon request, the school district will provide a document that will meet the needs of families for verification purposes.
