Congratulations to these Ellsworth Middle School students for being selected as Students of the Month for demonstrating the character trait of Cooperation!

On Thursday, March 27, our 8th-grade students had the powerful opportunity to hear from Elly Sternberg, the granddaughter of two Holocaust survivors. Elly shared the story of her grandparents, Esther and Berek Latarus-Polish Jews from Lodz, Poland, who both survived the Lodz Ghetto and were later transported to the Auschwitz concentration camp.
This impactful presentation was made possible thanks to the support of the Ellsworth Middle School Parents’ Club and the ongoing efforts of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Minnesota and the Dakotas.
