They’ve been busy practicing their fine motor skills using playdoh and beads, and today they celebrated their last day in style wearing pajamas and making their own sleep masks! 💤💜
We can’t wait to see all of our students back in the building very soon! #PantherPride #JumpStart #KindergartenReady

Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade Girls on the Run team wrapped up their season by running their final 5K at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds back in May! 💜
Every single girl activated her “I CAN” mindset and crossed that finish line strong. 💪 Way to go, girls. You showed grit, heart, and determination every step of the way!

Several EHS students recently attended the CVTC Medical Simulation Camp and it was intense (in the best way)! Over the course of the camp, they:
💉 Learned how to draw blood, start IVs, and perform IOs
🫁 Practiced intubating patients
🚑 Took part in a 2-hour emergency room simulation with real nurses, where their patient coded multiple times
❤️ Got CPR certified
The instructor said this group, which also included two students from Prescott, was amazing. They stayed focused, worked well as a team, and represented EHS proudly!
Oh, and the perks? 😎
🎁 Tons of swag
🎧 A stethoscope
🎓 A $500 scholarship to take a course at CVTC in any field!
We were thrilled to have our new high school principal, Mrs. Burch, there to cheer them on as they received their certificates. She loved seeing what they were up and they were just as excited to meet her! 💜
Big thanks to Mrs. Lesiecki and Ms. Wiskow for chaperoning and snapping some great photos of our students in action.

More than 20 kids got in on the action at this summer’s tennis camp thanks to the Empower Ellsworth grant! They hit a ton of balls (and maybe a few wild ones 😅), learned from special guest Greg Emerson from Altoona, and shared plenty of laughs on the court. What a great way to spend the summer! 💜
And we’re not done yet…
👉 Ellsworth Girls’ Tennis season is right around the corner!
📅 First official practice: August 12
🕓 Practice time: 3:45–5:30 PM

Check out this Polaroid gem from December 17, 1997 - Lindgren Elementary’s Rope Climb Champions with none other than Mr. Whalen! 💪
These future legends crushed it, but the fastest of them all? Ryan Steenson, clocking in at an incredible 4.83 seconds! 🏆
Thanks to Mr. Whalen for sharing this blast from the past anyone else remember rope climb day? 🙌

📝 Request form: https://docs.google.com/.../1FAIpQLSdoj6tSz24YqJ.../viewform
Deadline to sign up so we can get everything prepared is August 1st.
Thank you to everyone who helps make this possible! 💛

This is a statewide migration, so not all districts across Wisconsin will have Infinite Campus available. The plan is to have everything migrated over and the new links updated so that on Monday, August 4th, late morning/early afternoon, the site will be accessible again.
This will affect all aspects of Infinite Campus- parent sites, fee payments, etc.

Not only was it a great learning opportunity, but it was also the perfect way to celebrate the end of middle school with classmates before heading into high school this fall. 💜
Here are just a few of the places they visited:
🗽 U.S. Capitol
📚 Library of Congress
🌸 Tidal Basin Walk
🏛️ White House & Lafayette Square
🎖️ Arlington National Cemetery
🪖 Gettysburg National Military Park
🏛️ Smithsonian Museums
… and many more!
So many memories made, and so much Panther Pride! 🐾💜

Ms. Ainsworth’s 5K Readiness kiddos had a blast soaking up the sunshine and making sweet memories. We loved seeing their smiles and we’re counting down the days until we get to welcome them (and all our students!) back into the building! 💜 #PantherPride
We’re hooked on these amazing creations from our talented summer school students! Under the guidance of Ms. Coulson, these young knitters stitched up some seriously impressive work.
It’s knot every day you see skills like this summer school was full of fun, creativity, and some very cool yarn art. These kids truly blew us away! 💜

FACS teachers Sarah Johnson and Alyssa Matzek, along with retired (and still incredibly helpful!) middle school principal Tim Conway, spent three days at Mill City Roasters learning the ins and outs of coffee bean roasting. They’re gearing up for the arrival of a brand-new bean roaster that will be installed right in the FACS room at EHS!
This hands-on experience even included a tour of Café Imports, where green coffee beans arrive in Minneapolis for distribution to roasters across the region.
The best part? Roasting and selling coffee beans will soon become a student-run enterprise as part of the FACS curriculum. All three are excited to start roasting this fall. Stay tuned for a brand new EHS coffee bean coming your way! ☕💜 #PantherPride
