October is National Physical Therapy Month! Shoutout to Maria Martino, who does so many amazing things for our students district-wide! From helping our littlest learners build up to important developmental milestones 🧒👶, to ensuring that our older students with physical disabilities can navigate their school environment safely and independently 🚶‍♂️🏫, Maria makes a huge difference every day! We are thrilled to announce that Ellsworth Middle School has partnered with the Minnesota Timberwolves for their “Get Fit” Program! This fantastic initiative encourages our youth to stay active and play every day outside of school. Here’s how it works: students earn points for every 15 minutes of movement. This can include a variety of everyday activities, such as playing at the playground, shoveling snow, or even walking your dog! If you accumulate 25 points or more, you will receive a complimentary ticket to a Timberwolves game this season! If you're interested in participating in the GET FIT program, please pick up an information sheet from the office. Forms are limited, so act fast!
