Being a high school helper can have such a meaningful impact—not just for the students, but for everyone involved.
Sometimes, it can be hard to hold onto faith in the younger generation. Then someone like Carson Smith comes along and reminds us of the incredible hope and kindness that still exists.
Carson joined Mrs. Krig's room at EES as a high school helper during the first quarter, and it didn’t take long for him to prove he was so much more than just a helper. He became a bright light, a steady presence, and a source of genuine kindness. They were thrilled when he decided to return for a second quarter, bringing even more positivity into their days.
Last week, as they said goodbye and wished Carson well on his next chapter beyond high school, they were filled with gratitude. He truly made a difference, and the impact he’s had will not be forgotten.
Thank you, Carson, for everything you’ve brought to Mrs. Krig's room—you’ll always have a special place in our hearts. 💜

Mrs. Johnson's food service classes had an exciting field trip to LoLo American Kitchen in Hudson! Students enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of the restaurant, where they met the General Manager, learned about what it takes to run a successful restaurant, and had the chance to ask questions.
To top it off, they got to enjoy lunch at the restaurant, making the experience both educational and delicious! A big thank you to LoLo American Kitchen for hosting our students and sharing your expertise.
