🧵🪡🎨 The third graders at EES have been hard at work on their geometry lessons, and they recently took on a creative project - designing a quilt! 🎉👏 With the guidance of Mrs. Belz, the students created unique designs that showcase their understanding of shapes, patterns, and symmetry. 🌟✨ We are so impressed with their creativity and problem-solving skills! 🤩 A big thank you to Mrs. Belz for leading the project and sewing the designs together into a beautiful quilt. 👏👍 #geometrylessons #creativekids #artandmath 📐🔍🎓

The ECSD is currently hiring for the following positions. 💜𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝐖𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐃𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 The Library Media Specialist will primarily provide services to the students and staff of the Ellsworth Elementary School while also providing oversight of the middle school and high school library staff and operations. The Ellsworth Community School District currently serves approximately 1650 students district-wide. The Ellsworth Elementary School, which opened in 2018, provides a high-quality learning environment and library facility to 715 students from PK to grade 5. The library media specialist will work closely with staff at all levels to provide a wide variety of library media and technology learning experiences for all students while also providing oversight of the library media inventory and Common Schools Funds plan. 💜𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡 The Instructional coach will work closely with K-12 teachers and administrators to support effective instructional practices in the classroom in a collaborative environment focused on Professional Learning Community Practices. The coach will provide specific instructional practice support while also focusing on the onboarding and initial support of new staff and specific initiatives of the district. This person will work with the staff during the regular school year while also being involved in the development of summer training for staff related to various instructional practices, family engagement practices, and the effective use of data to improve instruction. 💜𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 The Mathematics Specialist is a teacher leader with strong preparation and background in mathematics content, instructional strategies, and school leadership. They are responsible for supporting the professional growth of their colleagues and promoting enhanced mathematics instruction and student learning, for strengthening classroom teachers’ understanding of mathematics content and helping teachers develop more effective mathematics teaching practices that allow all students to reach high standards. The Specialists will share research addressing how students learn mathematics. The overarching goal for the Mathematics Specialist is to increase the mathematics achievement of all students. Ellsworth Community School District - Child Development Screening and Registration The Ellsworth Community School District will hold child development screenings and 4K / 5K registration on the following dates: Wednesday, April 26 10:00am - 6:00pm All take place at the Ellsworth Elementary School. To register for four year old kindergarten your child must be 4 by September 1, 2023. If you are registering for kindergarten your child must be 5 by September 1, 2023. Appointments are required for screening. Appointments are not required to register for 4YK.
