📚👫 What a heartwarming day at our school! Mrs. Peterson's third-grade class had an amazing time visiting Mrs. Therriault's kindergarten class for Buddy Read! 😍📖
Witnessing these young minds come together and share their love for reading was truly heartwarming. 💞 It's incredible how much fun it is to read with a buddy – the smiles, the laughter, and the pure joy of storytelling shared between different grade levels. 📚✨

🌞☀️ Summer's gone in a blink! It's time to trade in the sun for some back-to-school fun! 📚✏️ Here's a sneak peek of the deliciousness coming your way in the cafeteria for the first 3 days of school. Get ready to dig in! 🍔🍎🥪
Let's make this school year scrumptious and sensational! 🥪🍕📚

This past May, our EES Student Council kicked off our Pennies for Peter penny drive! This was to honor our friend, Peter Kolodzienski, and to raise money for HALOS of the St. Croix Valley Pennies for Heaven.
The EES penny drive concluded on May 8th, Peter's birthday, where students celebrated by reading Peter's favorite books, playing some of his favorite games, and enjoying cupcakes. Thank you to the EES Parents' Club for their cupcake donation.
A few weekends ago, Peter's family, along with some EES staff members attended the HALOS of the St. Croix Valley Memorial Walk in New Richmond. Peter's team, which included our EES pennies, raised a total of $1,262.50 just with pennies! This means 126,250 pennies were collected and donated. The Kolodzienski family received the award for the most pennies collected!
