Mrs. Traynor's amazing high school students are spreading the love of reading to the little ones at EES for National Read Aloud Day! 📖✨
Let's inspire a passion for reading and create lasting memories together! 📚❤️
Kudos to Mrs. Traynor and her dedicated students for making a positive impact on our EES students.

2nd grade and Kindergarten have been learning about bridges. We took a field trip to the Pierce County Highway Shop. This is our 3rd year of STEM and the HIghway Shop has worked together for both grades to get a more hands-on approach with bridges. Chad Johnson and his crew do a fantastic job keeping the students engaged with hands-on learning. They set up stations for our 2nd graders to see the different parts that go into making a bridge, from the safety part to pouring cement.
Our Kindergarteners talked about a part of the bridge and then showed a short video on what it looks like to build that part of the bridge. After the presentation, both grades could walk around and ask questions about the big equipment and trucks.
A big Thank You to Chad Johnson, Elliott Check, Travis Hartung, Brad Taplin, Mark Wolf, Adam Johnson, Shaun Hartung, Jake Halls. We can not wait to see what they come up with for next year!

This week is National School Counseling Week 2024!!!! Let's celebrate the incredible efforts and unique contributions of our phenomenal school counselors! 🌟
👥 School counselors help students examine their abilities, strengths, interests and talents; work in partnership with parents as they encounter the challenges of raising children in today’s world; focus on positive ways to enhance students’ academic, career and social/emotional development; and work with teachers and other educators to provide an educational system where students can realize their potential and set healthy, realistic and optimistic aspirations for themselves. School counselors are certified, experienced educators with a master’s degree in school counseling. The combination of their training and experience makes them an integral part of the total educational program.
🌈 Let's take a moment to express our gratitude to the amazing counselors we have here at ECSD! 🤗 Thank you for your dedication, compassion, and unwavering support. Your influence goes beyond the classroom, and we're truly fortunate to have such inspiring professionals shaping the future of our students. 🌟
💜💜Spread the love, share your stories, and let's make this National School Counseling Week a memorable one! 💜💜
Thank you to Ms. Wiskow & Mr. Smith at the high school, Mrs. Kyllo & Mrs. Fiala at the middle school, and Mrs. Groh, Mrs. Zimmer, & Mrs. Bennett-Deiss at EES.

Residents of the Ellsworth Community School District recently received a mailing from the district with introductory information about our upcoming April 2, 2024 Facilities Referendum. Over the course of the coming weeks there will be many more communications that provide residents much more information about the middle school and high school projects being addressed.
Upcoming planned communications included videos, mailings, social media posts, and attendance at many school and community events to answer any questions residents may have. In addition, we have a referendum information page up and running on our school district website at www.ellsworth.k12.wi.us. We encourage residents to visit this page to see the latest information.
Over the coming weeks I will also be writing a number of short articles that individually address the various projects along with financial impacts and visioning for the district. I hope that these articles are beneficial for all residents to best understand the rationale related to these projects and our long term vision.
As always, our staff is always available to address any questions residents may have. I strongly encourage residents to connect with me by phone (715) 273-3900 or by email at cainb@ellsworth.k12.wi.us.
Lastly, we are also available for tours of our facilities so that residents can see the planned projects firsthand regardless of the size of the group. Just let us know and we can make it work for you!
Thanks and look for much more information to come!
