Help protect your children -- and their classmates -- when they're under the weather, so that they can return to the classroom healthy and ready to learn.
When your child is sick:
The best thing you can do is to keep your children home when sick. This will help stop the spread of illness to other children and teachers. Keep them home when they show any of these symptoms:
-fever of 100 degrees F or higher
-nausea or vomiting
-severe headache
-diarrhea
-red, watery eyes with yellow or green drainage
-undiagnosed rash
Children should stay home until they have been naturally without fever for at least 24 hours. Please do not give children fever-reducing medication and then send them to school.
Any questions please reach out to our school nurse Bridget Nelson at nelsonbri@ellsworth.k12.wi.us or 715-273-3912

Due to weather conditions, there will be no afternoon 4YK or Early Childhood for the afternoon of Tuesday, November 29th.

With Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday behind us, there's another day to look forward to: Giving Tuesday. The day of giving back is today, Nov. 29, and it's a great way for people across the country to think about their communities and to help those they don't know. Since its inception 10 years ago, the movement has raised billions of dollars for nonprofit organizations across the spectrum, whether it's for at-risk youth, the environment or pet adoptions.
People in our community still need our help and we are hoping you will consider helping our Gift Box Program. We still have 8 families/30 people in need.
If you can't sponsor a family we are accepting monetary donations as well. We have several high school students that are volunteering to do the shopping and wrapping for these families.
If you have questions please contact Anne Pechacek at pechaceka@ellsworth.k12.wi.us or 715-273-3904

Happy Thanksgiving!!
The EHS Fall Musical raised $789 for a non-profit organization called The Butterfly Path.
The Butterfly Path is a non-profit organization that raises money to help people who struggle with mental illness. They do so by providing local mental health services, along with financial assistance for therapy. This is a great foundation that helps folks in St. Croix County and beyond. www.thebutterflypath.org
Thank you to everyone that donated while attending our fall musical.

The STEM lab at EES is home to over 200 brown trout. They were tiny, pink eggs on Nov 10. They are now all hatched and growing each day! The fish will be released into a local trout stream in the spring.

6th graders had a fun afternoon of bowling last Friday. Thank you to EMS Parents Club for sponsoring the trip.
