It was an inspiring day as several of our EMS students participated in Pierce County Youth Government Day! They had the opportunity to dive into the world of goverment, learning about civic duties, leadership, and the importance of active citizenship. 🎉📚⚾ What a fantastic day for our 8th graders! They hit it out of the park while learning all about the A, B, C's of baseball at the St. Paul Saints game! Huge shoutout to the EMS Parents Club for their grant, making this educational adventure possible and helping offset the costs. Thank you for supporting our students' learning experiences beyond the classroom!

Julie Belz worked with the third grade classes to create geometry blocks out of triangles to make a variety of designs and geometric shapes. She then took all their square designs and created 2 quilts. The quilts were created to honor two third grade retirees, Mrs. Peterson and Mrs. Hamilton.

Our amazing 4th graders embarked on an unforgettable journey to Madison! 🏛️ They delved into the heart of Wisconsin's history with a captivating tour of the Capitol, immersing themselves in the rich tapestry of our state's government.
But the adventure didn't end there! 🦁🐒 They also had a wild time exploring the Henry Vilas Zoo, where they encountered fascinating creatures from around the globe. From majestic lions to playful monkeys, every moment was filled with awe and wonder.
Thank you to all the teachers, parents, volunteers & Ellsworth Community School District Foundation who made this trip possible! 🙌 It's moments like these that create memories to last a lifetime and inspire a love for learning. Here's to many more adventures together!

EHS students are working on a school supply drive to help students in two schools in the Ukraine. These schools are connected to local Pierce County residents via family and friends. Many of these students spend hours each day in underground bunkers and with few resources.
If you'd like to help by donating school supplies off this Amazon wish list, purchases are sent to EHS.
We will then be packaging classroom sets to be sent to these schools directly.
If you'd like to make a financial donation to help with shipping costs or supplies, they can be sent to EHS Hearts and Minds at Ellsworth High School at EHS 323 Hillcrest St. Ellsworth WI 54011

Congratulations to our brilliant 5th graders who shone bright at the Math Masters competition hosted at SCC Middle School! 🏆📚 Out of our 10 participants, we're thrilled to announce that 3 of them soared to individual victories. 👏 Toni Christianson secured 12th place, Jake Jenson claimed 10th, and Belle Kuske triumphantly clinched 7th place in the individual rounds. 🎉🔢 Way to go, mathletes! Your hard work and dedication truly paid off!

Every student at our middle school poured their creativity and kindness into crafting notes of encouragement. This week, we've planted these uplifting messages in our very own BEE KIND garden, sowing seeds of positivity and support for all who visit. 💜
It's incredible to see the power of words blossoming. Whether it's a simple "You've got this!" or a heartfelt reminder that "You are capable of amazing things," these notes are reminders that we're all in this together.

The Ellsworth School District is partnering with Movement Arts Hub, LLC. to provide dance classes at no cost to families. The Outside of School GRANT is covering the costs. Elementary students currently enrolled in grades 2nd - 5th at EES can sign up for this partnership for free by using the code MAYDANCE24 when they register.

🌟 Recap of the Fun PAC Night Last Week! 🎨
We had an absolute blast at our latest PAC (Parents and Children) night! The theme was "Looking through my window, who do I see?!"
Our PAC program is designed for families with children who are not yet in school, focusing on development across various domains including sensory, motor skills, social-emotional learning, communication, and creativity. It's a wonderful opportunity for caregivers to explore important topics related to parent-child relationships, early childhood development, family experiences, and community connections. 🌱
At PAC night, everyone got to enjoy snacks and participate in a seasonal craft, adding an extra layer of fun and connection to the evening. 🍪✂️
If you're interested in finding out more about PAC nights please connect with Melinda Casper (casperm@ellsworth.k12.wi.us, 715-273-3911) or Olivia Carlson (carlsono@ellsworth.k12.wi.us, 715-273-3912).

Ms.Kissinger's outdoor adventure class observed Earth Day by going out and cleaning not only the school forest but Cairn's Woods as well. We believe it is important to maintain and protect the natural resources we have for future generations to use and enjoy as well.
