We strive to provide optimal support for students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) during summer school; however, because summer school classes are not special education, are not required and are not based upon the child's individual needs we may not always be able to. The district is not required to provide related services, such as transportation, for permissive summer school. It's important to understand that our summer school programming is not the same as regular school.  We are committed to doing our utmost to accommodate and assist all students to the best of our abilities. We recognize that collaboration between educators, parents, and students is crucial to ensuring that the support provided is a good fit for each student's needs making it a successful experience for all.
