Ellsworth Community School District is excited to offer an in-person Jump Start program for students going into grades Kindergarten through 7th! Please read through all the information carefully.
Jump Start will be Monday-Thursday, August 9th-12th from 8am-11:30am.
The purpose of Jump Start is to help students get back in the swing of school through fun and educational math and reading activities along with providing fun, structured games and activities appropriate to their grade level.
All Jump Start classes will be held in the school building where your child will be attending this fall. Registrations are time-stamped when submitted and classes will be filled on a first come, first served basis. To insure your child’s spot in Jump Start, register early. We will monitor registration and close grades when they are full to avoid overfilling.
Bus transportation will be available. There are 7 routes (same routes as summer school) developed to provide as much coverage for district families as possible. Transportation and route information is linked below and in the Jump Start Registration form. Drop off and pick up areas are the same as during the normal school year. We do not want transportation to be a barrier to your child attending Jump Start. For transportation assistance please call or email Michael Chisholm at 715-273-3917 firstname.lastname@example.org
Face coverings will be optional during Jump Start and on the buses.
We look forward to getting back into the swing of things! Please contact Tim Conway at EMS: email@example.com for general Jump Start questions and Michael Chisolm at the bus garage firstname.lastname@example.org with transportation-specific questions. All Jump Start links are below. You can also find them in the Registration Link, on our Facebook Page, and on our district website.
