Mission Statement: “Our mission is to empower the quality education and well-being of our students, be a network for parents to meet and establish a community, provide support to our teachers and staff and instill school spirit and pride within our children and families.”?
What we do: We raise money, donate our time, plan events and distribute funds and donations to our students and staff. Some examples of what we've done in prior years:
SmartBoards for classrooms
Accelerated Reader Program prizes
Lyceums (authors, musicians, plays)
Funding of Field Trips
Classroom supplies for each teacher
Scholarships (high school and summer camp)
Holiday Gift Store
Google Chromebooks for classrooms
When we meet: We meet one time the first Monday of each month at 6:30pm in the Hillcrest Library. Meetings are not mandatory and all meeting agendas, minutes, updates and volunteer opportunities will be emailed to you if you provide an email address. However, attending the meetings is a great way to find out what decisions and changes are being made at Hillcrest and throughout our districts.
If you have any idea or suggestion, we want to hear from you! Even if you can't make it to a meeting.
