Sports Physicals
  • Sports qualifying physicals at Mayo Clinic Health System - Ellsworth - Wed. July 27th from 4-6:30 p.m.  Offering a $20 pre-participation physical for high school athletes.  *Wear gym shorts *Bring or wear eyeglasses/contacts *Bring completed WIAA physical form *Have a parent present *Call 715-273-5061 for an appointment.​

EMT Certification Program (Dual Enrollment)

We are looking for Juniors who may be interested in a FREE EMT Certification Program during the 2016-17 school year.  The program is run through Chippewa Valley Technical College in River Falls.  The courses run most Thursday evenings throughout the school year and one Saturday a month for a total of 160 classroom hours.  When students are finished with the program they will take a certification exam (right away if they are 18) and will also earn 5 college credits and 1.25 elective high school credits.  The program is challenging but is a great fit for students considering a career in any medical field.

Student Requirements:

  1. Current Junior at EHS (Class of 2017)

  2. Interest in a healthcare related career path

  3. Cumulative GPA of at least 5.0 or above (“C” average or above)

  4. Attendance will be an important factor in the evaluation of applicants

  5. Student is in good credit standing

  6. Student has their own transportation

  7. Student has followed all behavior expectations outlined in the EHS student handbook
